Trivium is an Asia Pacific real estate investment and asset management firm with on-the-ground presence across Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan.

Trivium is a Latin word meaning “the meeting of three paths,” symbolising connection, clarity and disciplined thinking. In our real estate strategy, it reflects how we systematically connect three core dimensions: capital, assets and users. We focus on uncovering mispriced opportunities, then applying data-driven asset management and thoughtful design to align investor objectives with end-user needs. This three‑path framework guides how we underwrite risk, curate partnerships and create resilient income streams across markets. Leadership

Managing Partner

Richard Zen

Richard is Managing Partner at Trivium and is also affiliated with its anchor investor. Previously, he served as Vice President of Investments at Phoenix Property Investors, executing acquisitions, disposals, and fundraisings totalling US$2B+. His experience spans hotel operations with a listed Hong Kong developer and public accounting at EY, where he earned his CPA. A graduate of UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business, Richard is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is among its youngest Global Governing Trustees.
Managing Partner

Wilfred Ma

Wilfred is Managing Partner at Trivium. Previously, he was Head of Hong Kong Investments at Phoenix Property Investors, overseeing equity and debt transactions of US$3B+. He began his career at Vermilion Capital Management, a Tokyo-based private equity real estate fund. Wilfred holds a BSc in Management (LSE) and an MSc in Real Estate (HKU), with additional studies in Japanese at Keio University. He serves on the ULI Hong Kong Executive Committee and co-chairs the Housing Committee.
